Role Responsibilities:

Knowledge of electrical and electronics makes up 50% of this job. Responsible for repairing machines and other equipment.

Assisting with ordering supplies/parts by performing the following duties

Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.

Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area.

Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.

Removes and replaces worn or defective parts of drive mechanism or hydraulic system.

Realigns and adjust components.

Locates damaged air, liquid, hydraulic pipes or electrical wires on machine; and measures, cuts, threads, and installs new pipes, lines or wires.

Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repairs.

Repairs broken parts. Sets up and operates metalworking tools such as drill press or grinder to make or repair parts.

Welds equipment and parts as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Driver’s License.

Must pass drug screen and background check.

Verifiable (Class A) welding experience.

Verifiable mechanical maintenance experience or training is mandatory, including hydraulics, pneumatic and electrical.

Verifiable electrician experience or training is mandatory

Available to work some overtime.

Familiar with common equipment operating systems.

Ability to write, communicate and perform basic math skills.

Must be prompt, dependable, and neat in appearance.
