Service Manager

Review technician work performance

Train staff, focusing on areas of deficiency

Recruit new technicians as required

Approve/schedule time off

Write up inappropriate technician behavior

Resolve conflicts

Manage safety training and OSHA compliance

Review work orders for parts needed/technician capabilities

Assign technician to WO

Coordinate work with contractor/trades/owner as needed

Schedule/dispatch team

Assist technician in troubleshooting tech support/scope of work

Develop and maintain weekend on call schedule

Evaluate hours required to complete work

Evaluate procedure used to solve problem

Ensure cleanliness/neatness/quality of work

Determine if follow up-work is needed; include required parts list

Communicate with customers to ensure RWS is meeting their needs

Assign work in warehouse/shop

Evaluate potential warranty issues and communicate actions with all parties (owner, technician, inventory and administrator)
