Accountants Needed (South San Antonio) – $17-$29/hour

We are looking for an Accountant and Assistant Accounting Manager for two locations in South San Antonio.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports

• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets

• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements

• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency

• Report analysis and findings to management team

• Accounts payable/Accounts receivable

General Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields

• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP

• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools

• Detail and deadline-oriented

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Experience with Solomon or SAGE 100 a plus!

• Must pass background and drug screen

• Must have Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

• Must understand ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)

• Must have working knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)

Assistant Accounting Manager:

• Must have Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Will consider 2-year degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience Accounting
