Admin Assistant Opening, Albuquerque, NM

Key Responsibilities 
Administrative support 
Support the CEO/Executive Director in managing logistics for the Board of Directors, workgroups, and committees, including scheduling, communications, agenda preparation, and minutes. 
Support the Chief Operating Officer
 
Schedule, compile agendas, and take minutes for staff meetings. 
Manage travel arrangements and handle event logistics as requested. 
Provide customer service by responding to information requests. 
Special projects
As organizational needs dictate the Special Projects Coordinator will lead or participate in special projects that improve the organization’s effectiveness. 
Duties will vary and may include:
Community outreach and relationship building
Assist with in-person and online events o Data management, clean-up, and integration
Research and evaluation projects
Documenting organizational procedures
Assisting staff in launching new initiatives o Conference planning and support o Other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
Demonstrated commitment to equity
Knowledge of Native American and International Indigenous issues/relations.
Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), survey tools (Survey Monkey) and Zoom. Equivalent transferrable skills from other systems are welcome. Familiarity with website content management systems (WordPress), email engagement platforms (Constant Contact), online conference platforms, and project management software is desired.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities effectively and professionally. 
Effective and flexible communication skills. 
Excellent customer service skills.
