Administrative Assistance

Location: Hurst, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, direct calls to appropriate individual or take messages as necessary in a professional manner.

  • Greet, assist and document all plant visitors.

  • Retrieve, open, stamp and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail as necessary.

  • Data entry of accounts payable.

  • Data entry of Journal Entries.

  • Data entry and distribution of weekly accounting reports.

  • Receive purchase requisitions and create purchase orders.

  • Match packing receipts to open purchase orders.

  • Data Entry of received purchases into Quickbooks.

  • Contact vendors at month end for outstanding invoices and/or packing receipts.

  • Creation of files and filing of paperwork as necessary.

  • Data Entry for monthly reporting as required by manager.

  • Assist management team with special projects as necessary.

  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities assigned by Manager.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all policies and procedures.
