As an Apartment Leasing Agent you will play a key role in helping prospective residents find their perfect home by conducting property tours, answering inquiries, and explaining lease terms and conditions. You will be responsible for processing rental applications, managing lease agreements, and coordinating renewals while ensuring full compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
In addition to leasing duties, you will also manage ongoing resident relations, addressing concerns, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their residency. Accurate record-keeping and maintaining property data are vital aspects of the position.
Success in this role requires strong customer service skills, effective communication, and attention to detail. You will serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, contributing to a positive living environment and a successful leasing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide property tours to prospective residents and answer questions about available units.
- Explain leasing terms, rental agreements, and community policies.
- Process rental applications and ensure accurate lease documentation.
- Manage lease renewals and resident relations, addressing any concerns or requests.
- Coordinate maintenance requests with the appropriate teams.
- Maintain accurate property records, including resident files and occupancy data.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all prospective and current residents.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in leasing, real estate, or customer service preferred.
- Basic knowledge of property management software is a plus.
