Job Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician
Overview:
Ensure the functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of apartment communities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. This role involves addressing a variety of maintenance needs to provide a high-quality living experience for residents.

Key Responsibilities:
- General Repairs and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and upgrades to both the interior and exterior of apartment units and community areas, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
- Electrical and Plumbing: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and appliances as needed.
- Aesthetic Upkeep: Perform tasks such as painting, drywall repairs, pressure washing, and landscaping to maintain the visual appeal of the property.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address issues before they escalate.
- Emergency Response: Handle after-hours maintenance emergencies on a rotating or as-needed basis.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety standards and ensure the property complies with local regulations, including those related to environmental hazards such as asbestos, lead, mold, and radon.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with property management and other staff members to coordinate maintenance efforts and provide excellent customer service to residents.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of direct industry experience or 3 years of general maintenance experience in a related field, such as contracting or property management.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair, with hands-on experience in these areas.
- Knowledge of Hazards: Familiarity with environmental and industrial hazards relevant to residential housing, including proper handling and mitigation techniques.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage time efficiently, and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
- License and Insurance: Possession of a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
Shift:
- Monday – Friday
- 7am – 4:30pm
Pay:
- $19/hr
