Immediately hiring an Aviation Converter Technician for a large manufacturing company. The Converter Technician will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of ozone converters used in aircraft systems and manufacturing processes.
Pay is $15/hr.
Shift is Mon-Fri 7am-4:30pm
Duties:
- Install, inspect, and maintain ozone converters for aircraft environmental control systems
- Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure ozone converters meet industry standards and performance specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair ozone converters and associated components
- Conduct tests and diagnostics to assess the performance of ozone converters
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
- Generate reports detailing performance metrics, issues, and resolutions
- Use precision measuring instruments, valves and gauges
- Will be working with pressures, temperatures and air flow
Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined with a working knowledge of precision measuring instruments
- Previous maintenance, troubleshooting and light electrical experience is a plus
- Must have attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- Computer literate for maintaining records and data entry
- Seeking at least 1-2 yrs. in aviation manufacturing
- Previous converter tech experience is a huge plus
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
