Bilingual Receptionist / Coordinator Opening, Pasadena, TX

Our Pasadena area client is seeking a Bilingual Receptionist / Coordinator to work in their home health care agency

This position will be responsible for answering phones, greeting walk-ins, and providing clerical support to the office.

The Coordinator/Scheduler is responsible for staffing and coordinating schedules for the Agency’s clients. This position also includes assisting with hiring qualified field staff employees and assisting with orientation of Agency’s policies and guidelines in order to maintain correct delivery of services.

Job Qualifications:

Education: Have a minimum of a high school diploma.

Experience: Must have previous administrative experience, preferably in a health care profession.

Skills: Must possess good organizational and professional office skills and able to carry out instructions. Must be able to work unattended. Must demonstrate the ability to deal courteously with the public and have good verbal and written communication skills. Be organized, accurate, reliable, with good initiative and problem solving skills, have good computer skills. Must be able to speak English and Spanish fluently. Must have good customer service skills.

Environmental and Working Conditions:

Answering busy telephones, coordinating staffing needs of clients and able to handle difficult customers.

Physical and Mental Effort:

Requires working under some stressful conditions to identify client needs, to make quick decisions and meet client/family needs. Requires quick problem solution and continual communication with the Office Manager and Field Staff Supervisors.

Essential Functions:

  1. Has a courteous and professional manner in person and over the telephone.

  2. Provides necessary skills to coordinate and meet client and staffing needs.

  3. Maintains accurate telephone messages and keeps Field Staff Supervisors updated on changes requested by client(s).

  4. Provides necessary skills for pre-hiring, staffing and coordinating changes in Field Staff or Client’s schedules.

  5. Coordinates with Field Staff Supervisor for maintain current status of client care.

  6. Maintains Client Hospital Log to document clients’ hospitalizations.

  7. Possess good organizational and professional office skills and able to carry out instructions

  8. Maintains the Agency’s level of confidentiality of client information.

Shift: 8am – 5pm M-F

Pay: $12/hr.
