VIP Staffing is looking for an EXPERIENCED Billing Supervisor for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in an OBGYN environment.

Essential Functions/Job duties include but not limited to:

Create, prepare, and submit accurate claims in a timely fashion to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper.

Prepare, review, and send out billing statements to patients.

Post incoming payments from all sources to individual patient accounts.

Handle a variety of phone calls, properly diverting them and/or take accurate and thorough messages.

Identify and resolves patient billing inquiries and/or discrepancies.

Understands medical terminology, including Coding.

Process Medi-Cal, Medicare, and private health insurance claims.

Research and manage a variety of follow-ups, denials, & unpaid insurance claims

Experience:

Medical Billing and Coding: 10 years minimum

AR Collections: 10 years minimum

Claims : 10 years minimum

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30PM
