We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with extensive experience in Sage accounting software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Purchase Orders (POs), contributing to the smooth operation of our finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Generate and send customer invoices.
- Monitor outstanding payments to maintain healthy cash flow and follow up as needed.
Purchase Orders (POs):
- Create and manage purchase orders.
- Verify POs for accuracy against invoices and deliveries.
Sage Software Management:
- Maintain accurate financial records in Sage accounting software.
- Generate financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closings.
General Bookkeeping Duties:
- Record and reconcile financial transactions.
- Prepare documentation for audits and tax filings.
- Maintain secure and well-organized financial records.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software is required.
- Strong knowledge of AP, AR, and PO processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
