Summary
We are looking for a family office manager with bookkeeping experience to join our team and handle the financial and administrative needs of our family office (which includes several business entities, trusts and individuals). You will be responsible for managing the bookkeeping, filing and supply management, assisting with tenant correspondence, scheduling meetings and travel, and other tasks as assigned. You will report directly to the family office director and work closely with other staff members.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a college degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- At least three years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a family office or a similar setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Quick Books.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping duties, such as recording transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and filing taxes.
- Maintain and update the filing and supply management system for the family office.
- Assist with tenant correspondence, such as sending invoices, collecting rent, and addressing issues.
- Schedule meetings and travel arrangements for the family office director and other staff members.
- Provide administrative support to the family office director and other family members, such as answering phone calls, emails, and letters, preparing documents, and running errands.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the family office director.
