VIP Staffing is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Technician in Schertz

Job Duties:

• Perform minor repairs

• Maintenance of building and grounds appearance, removing debris/trash

• Conduct maintenance tasks – replacing light bulbs

• Maintain, service, clean and properly store equipment

• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarm)

• Inspect and repair all damages to building surfaces

• Participate in different projects (e.g., renovations)

• Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

• Perform other related duties and activities as required

 2 years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field, plant engineering, or factory/plant maintenance

Must be able to walk, stand, & climb (ladder) for 8-10 hours

$16 – $18 an hour contingent on experience, work Mon thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00, hour for lunch
