Job Title: Business Development Representative
Location: South Dallas (Home office required; start and end the day in the office)

Job Summary
The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving new business growth within the light industrial and professional office sectors. This role combines in-person cold calling, phone outreach, and strategic relationship-building to identify client staffing needs and match them with the right talent. The successful candidate will create and execute a sales program, work closely with recruiting teams, and manage the order lifecycle to ensure excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Conduct market research to identify new business prospects and generate sales leads.
- Develop prospect lists and implement a sales strategy to generate new business.
- Perform cold and follow-up calls, schedule field visits, and conduct sales presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet business targets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients by participating in local networking events (e.g., Chamber of Commerce and business groups).
- Understand client needs, confirm job descriptions, and document potential safety concerns at their operational sites.
- Work closely with recruiting teams to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently.
- Address and resolve customer service issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth order lifecycle from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of sales experience, preferably in staffing.
- Skills:
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with above-average presentation abilities.
- Proficient in business development, sales, and marketing strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple clients effectively.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a diverse workforce and client base.
Additional Requirements
- Comfortable with outdoor in-person cold calls and phone outreach.
- Ability to take client orders, ensure accurate job descriptions, and collaborate with recruiting teams.
- Active participation in local networking events.
