The buyer will manage direct and indirect procurement under the lead of the Global Procurement Manager based in France. This role supports all levels of the organization and work with local and international suppliers.

Essential Duties:

• Participate to the development and  implementation of the global and local procurement strategies

• Build and maintain win win relationships with suppliers to ensure best prices and capacity levels

• Identify and implement ambitious savings plan

• Identify new opportunities and support projects by running tenders

• Implement and negotiate contracts and service level agreements

• Manage US suppliers portfolio through performance reviews, audits and score cards

• Organize innovation days with suppliers to keep technology on top of future and current trends

• In charge of collecting Cost Of Poor Quality (COPQ) and following the implementation of CAPA plan in collaboration with QA team

• Responsible for local KPI’s and their reporting to management

• Perform system maintenance to ensure accurate and current list of items and sources

Experience:

• 1 – 3 years’ experience working in international procurement

• Industrial, Pharmaceutical or Food experience a plus!

Knowledge, Skills Abilities:

• Proficient in SAP

• Proficient in Microsoft pack office

• Negotiations skills with proven track record on cost savings

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Multitasker and very organized

• Speaking several languages is a nice to have

• Well-travelled and open to international cultures is a nice to have

Education:

Bachelors degree in business with procurement and negotiation modules
