Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will read and interpret blueprints, assemble prefabricated cabinet parts, and ensure high-quality standards are met. This position requires the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to construct and install custom cabinetry. The ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine the type and dimensions of parts to be assembled.
- Assemble and install prefabricated parts such as doors, shelves, and trim.
- Install hardware including hinges, handles, drawers, locks, and accessories.
- Measure, mark, and cut parts according to specifications.
- Fill, sand, and finish assembled units to meet quality standards.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they comply with specifications.
- Maintain tools and equipment in clean and working condition.
Required Experience:
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Previous experience in cabinet assembly or a similar role.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Experience in custom woodworking or cabinetry.
- Familiarity with quality control processes in manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of various cabinet assembly techniques.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting assembly drawings and schematics.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
