Commercial Sales Director – Motive Power Flooded Lead Acid Batteries: Commercial Forklifts – (San Antonio, TX)
Reports to: CEO
Direct reports: Sales representatives
Position Objective
This is a principal sales role that is responsible for the Company’s commercial development for further expansion into the US Market for industrial batteries. Primary activities will include prospecting for new customers and managing ongoing relationships and expanding market share through new customers and product sales. This individual will develop and manage a sales team. Bilingual (Spanish) a major plus as the parent company is in Mexico. The most compelling candidates will have existing client and prospective client relationships and contacts in the sales area of focus.
Main Activities & Responsibilities
- Understands products, market size, customers, competitors and regulations
- Identifies commercial opportunities and develops plan for capturing additional market share
- Actively prospects and attracts new customers
- Establishes and manages Annual, Quarterly and Monthly sales budget
- Analyzes and reports budget vs variance; Active pipeline management and forecasting
- Attracts and develops sales representatives to join the team
- Evaluates and proposes process improvements to improve customer satisfaction and retention

- Real vs budget analysis by segment, customer, and sales representative
- Market analysis by product, vendor, and customer segments
