VIP Staffing is immediately hiring for a Construction Project manager for a leading company in Edgewood New Mexico
As a Construction Project Manager, you will:
- Assist in staffing, outlining project plans, setting project goals & deadlines, and evaluate job & project performance
- Ensure construction projects are completed on time and to the customers satisfactions
- Communicate directly with contractors, designers and owners
- Prepare and monitor job coasts and project schedules
- Prepare and submit pay applications
- Prepare status reports and assists or plans daily scheduling
- Familiarity with a variety of project concepts, practices and procedures
- Maintain logs, and completes; contractor submittals, requests for information and changes of proposals to provide a summarized source of information pertinent to the project.
- Review and approve contractor invoices for payment
- Lead and direct the work of others as well as evaluates performance at appropriate evaluation times
- May be called upon to function at any level of crew, including working with tools.
Construction Project Manager candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of progressive construction experience
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Associates degree, Certificate, or related work experience in Project Management
- Have strong attention to Detail
- Be highly organized
- Strong math skills
- Experience with project management software
- Strong Computer Skills
- Strong leadership/mentor skills
- Lead by example
This is a Full time Direct Hire Opportunity
The schedule for this position is Monday- Friday 7:00am-5:30 pm (possible overtime required depending on job)
Pay for this position is $90,000- $140,000 DOE
