Customer Service Associate

Location: HOUSTON, TX

Our client in Northwest Houston is looking for qualified candidates to join their team!



  • Respond to customer inquiries via incoming calls, written specifications, and emails.

  • Be able to read and understand technical product standards and commercial requirements including technical drawings and regulatory documentation in order to assist customer’s.

  • Act as a liaison between customer and all company departments (sales, manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, etc.)

  • Focus on providing efficient and timely delivery of customer’s orders and replacement orders.

  • Communicate with Department Supervisor and sales staff regarding problems with customer orders.

  • Assist A/R and A/P department in resolving invoice discrepancies.

  • Authorize returns and ensure the accuracy of customer account credits.

  • File lost/damage freight claims and assist customers with third party logistics when needed.

  • Maintain filing system for customer orders.


  • Must have good listening, verbal, and writing skills.

  • Must be able to type above 50 wpm.

  • Must be detail oriented, organized, able to meet deadlines, and multi-task in a diverse, fast paced environment.

  • Be proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Possess at least 3 years of experience working directly with customers.

  • Have experience in conflict resolution.

  • Must be able to understand basic accounting practices.

  • Must be willing to temporarily work in the Warehouse to learn material handling and basic day-to-day operation processes as part of CSR training.
