Our client in Northwest Houston is looking for qualified candidates to join their team!
CUSTOMER SERVICE REP.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Respond to customer inquiries via incoming calls, written specifications, and emails.
Be able to read and understand technical product standards and commercial requirements including technical drawings and regulatory documentation in order to assist customer’s.
Act as a liaison between customer and all company departments (sales, manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, etc.)
Focus on providing efficient and timely delivery of customer’s orders and replacement orders.
Communicate with Department Supervisor and sales staff regarding problems with customer orders.
Assist A/R and A/P department in resolving invoice discrepancies.
Authorize returns and ensure the accuracy of customer account credits.
File lost/damage freight claims and assist customers with third party logistics when needed.
Maintain filing system for customer orders.
Must have good listening, verbal, and writing skills.
Must be able to type above 50 wpm.
Must be detail oriented, organized, able to meet deadlines, and multi-task in a diverse, fast paced environment.
Be proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
Possess at least 3 years of experience working directly with customers.
Have experience in conflict resolution.
Must be able to understand basic accounting practices.
Must be willing to temporarily work in the Warehouse to learn material handling and basic day-to-day operation processes as part of CSR training.
