Primary Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver
Location: Plano, TX
Pay Rate: $19/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to handle local deliveries of plumbing supplies in the Plano area. This role involves driving a flatbed truck and performing various warehouse tasks, including loading, unloading, and securing materials. This position is essential for maintaining efficient, timely deliveries and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a flatbed truck to deliver plumbing supplies to local customers.
- Load, secure (strap), and unload materials with care to ensure safe transport.
- Interact professionally with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any basic questions.
- Maintain a clean and accurate Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Support general warehouse tasks as needed.
Required Experience:
- Delivery Driving Experience: At least 1 year of previous experience with delivery driving, ideally in a similar field.
- Warehouse Handling: Ability to safely load and unload materials, including experience strapping materials for secure transport.
Required Skills:
- Class C Driver’s License: Valid and up-to-date Class C license.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of loading/unloading duties.
- Clean MVR: Must have a clean and current Motor Vehicle Record.
Preferred Skills:
- Customer Service: Friendly and professional demeanor for positive interactions with customers.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time efficiently for timely deliveries and inventory organization.
