Dual-Language Financial Specialist
A Recycling Company in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its team. This role involves managing day-to-day financial tasks including month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory control, fixed assets, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and generate checks.
- Manage month-end close and reconcile bank accounts.
- Record and deposit payments, and document financial transactions.
- Monitor bank accounts, payables, and receivables.
- Prepare invoices, general ledger entries, and financial statements.
- Reconcile discrepancies and prepare trial balances.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Perform account analysis, prepare special financial reports, and cover Scale Clerk duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with three years of experience.
- Proficient in reconciliations and accrual accounting principles.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Effective in building relationships and resolving disputes.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- Must meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and have strong math skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of a post-offer medical exam and background check.
- Compliance with safety guidelines and possession of a valid driver’s license.
