- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Job Summary
VIP South Dallas is seeking experienced Heavy Assemblers / General Help for a warehouse located in Cedar Hill, TX. This role involves building custom signs, utilizing hand tools, and performing physical tasks such as heavy lifting. Ideal candidates are skilled with blueprints and hand tools, capable of precise measurement, and have the physical strength needed for moving heavy materials. Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to accurately build crates and custom signs
- Use both electric and non-electric hand tools for assembly tasks
- Perform electrical wiring as needed for sign assembly
- Unbox and inspect the contents of shipments for accuracy and quality
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures in all tasks
- Assist with other general duties around the warehouse as needed
Required Experience
- Experience using hand tools for assembly tasks
- Ability to read blueprints and perform assembly work accurately
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Previous work in a manufacturing or sign-making environment
- Experience in crate-building or other custom manufacturing work
Required Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools (electric and manual) for assembly
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy boxes and materials
Preferred Skills
- Strong attention to detail for quality control in assembly work
- Familiarity with safety protocols in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
