Electrical Assembler to build and assemble automated test and control systems.Monday-Friday1st Shift (8 am-5 pm)
Pay: $17-$23
Electrical Assembler Responsibilities:
- Assemble custom test and measurement systems.
- Electrical wiring.
- Select, procure, and integrate hardware such as computers, instrumentation, sensors, and racks.
- Sustaining support for installed systems.
- Maintain processes, tools, and work areas.
- Work autonomously or in a team environment.
- Able to read and understand blueprints and low-voltage.
Electrical Assembler Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma – the ideal candidate will also have a minimum of 2-3 years of mechanical assembly.
- Good understanding of both electric/electronic systems and mechanical systems including PCBAs, instrumentation, sensors, rack systems, cabling, fixtures, ITAs, Virginia Panel, and PC hardware.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and blueprints, and work with low voltage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and an innovative and resourceful mindset.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for mechanical assembly processes.
Clean background, does projects for the military.
Must have blueprint experience, low voltage experience and experience with working with a high mix of product/ custom work. Not someone that does just super repetitive assembly. Everything is custom and different here.
