•We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Drafting Designer for CO2 Liquefaction and LNG Plants Instrumentation and Electrical design
•This Electrical Designer will be responsible on helping Engineering on technical design of Electrical Schematics, Panel Layouts, One-Lines, and other associated electrical drawings for gas processing and refrigeration systems

Reports to: Drafting Manager
Essential Responsibilities
In the role of Electrical Drafting Designer, you will:
•Create accurate, detailed technical plans for electrical systems using latest version AutoCAD Electrical to convert specifications and design information from engineers into schematics and blueprints
•Collect, study and combine rough sketches and initial design ideas from engineers into coherent technical drafts for further study and review by project managers
•Prepare comprehensive wiring diagrams for electrical equipment, design information and engineering specifications
•Check that final technical drafts include all relevant information in an easy-to-read format, and verify that calculations, measurements and units are accurate based on initial design information from engineers
•Review technical drafts as needed according to verbal or written instructions from project engineers, manufacturing and project management.
•Design Drawings include, but not limited to: One-line drawings, Control Panel Drawings, 2D layout drawings used for Electrical field work and connections, Hazardous Area Identification, Lighting, Cable Tray/Conduit layout
•Participate in design process by supporting engineers and designers, contributing ideas and information and creating rough sketches and diagrams of electrical wiring and systems on the fly

•Assist designers and project engineers as needed in preparing technical documents, data import templates and CADD program symbols to accommodate needs for electrical design and data entry
•Attends project coordination meetings with internal project members and/or external customers.
•Support electrical engineering deliverables on multiple projects in a dynamic work environment
•Prepare data lists/sheets for procurement of mechanical components

Qualifications/Requirements
•Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is a must
•Ability to be very detail oriented in creating electrical symbols (i.e. Chassis Layout, terminal blocks, panel layout blocks)
•Proficient with MS Office Excel and MS Office Access
•Knowledge of basic electrical design is highly recommended
•An associate degree in Drafting & design is preferred or 3+ years’ experience is accepted
•5+ years’ experience in a similar position is preferred
•Capability to understand and read/draw ISA P&ID and Electrical symbols is a must
•Self-Starter, Strong communication skills
