Primarily responsible for Printed Circuit Board assembly; ensuring that the product is manufactured to the customer’s specifications and quality standards.

Essential Functions

Must have ability to identify components

Must be able to prep components to install into printed circuit boards

Must be able and willing to use a microscope

Must be able to read, understand and follow assembly documentation

Must be able to assemble products per customer’s documentation (bill of material, drawings and assembly procedures)

Must ensure compliance with company policies

Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

High School diploma or GED

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

IPC 610 Certification (must be able to pass certification within 90 days) a plus

J-Standard 001 Certification (must be able to pass certification within 90 days) Customer ‘s Workmanship Certification (after hire)

Knowledge Requirements:

Must be able to navigate through IPC 610 manual Must have good written and oral communication skills

Experience:

1 – 2 years of Printed Circuit Board assembly

Experience working with Sn63 solder (Sn96 solder or other type of Lead Free alloy).

Special Information (Travel requirements, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.):

20/20 vision (correctable) Some local travel required

May be required to work overtime and some weekends
