Job Summary
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company in Fort Worth is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facility equipment.
- Perform routine checks on building infrastructure, including walls, ceilings, floors, and roofs.

Repairs and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.

Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs, inspection reports, and repair documentation.
- Participate in safety audits and inspections.

Facility Upkeep:
- Perform general building maintenance tasks, such as painting, carpentry, and minor construction.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling programs.

Vendor Coordination:
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of service providers to ensure quality and efficiency.

Inventory Management:
- Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Order and replenish supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted maintenance operations.
Qualifications

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in facility maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to work in various conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
