Immediately hiring a Fiberglass Tech for a large aviation manufacturing company.
Pay is $18/hr. depending on experience
Shift is Mon-Fri 7am-4:30pm
Duties:
- Conduct wet lay-up repairs using epoxy resins and fiberglass or carbon cloth
- Perform maintenance and repair on fiberglass composite aircraft components
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged parts to assess the extent of repairs needed and document findings
- Utilize appropriate tooling and fixtures
- Prepare, cut, and shape composite materials for repairs
- Perform additional tasks such as pre-peg, vacuum bagging, and spray painting as needed
Responsibilities:
- Minimum 1 yr. experience in fiberglass/composite repair required
- Experience in pre-preg, vacuum bagging, and spray painting preferred
- Previous aviation manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to use fiberglass tools in aerospace manufacturing
