We are seeking a skilled Fiberglass Technician with a minimum of 1 year of experience in fiberglass or composite repair of aircraft components. The ideal candidate will specialize in wet lay-up repairs using epoxy resins, fiberglass, or carbon cloth and utilize appropriate tooling and fixtures. Experience in pre-preg, vacuum bagging, and spray painting is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fiberglass and composite repairs on aircraft components to ensure structural integrity.
- Apply wet lay-up techniques using epoxy resins and fiberglass or carbon cloth.
- Utilize tooling and fixtures to facilitate accurate and effective repairs.
- Assist with pre-preg, vacuum bagging, and spray painting tasks as needed.
- Ensure all repairs meet stringent quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in fiberglass or composite repair.
- Proficiency with wet lay-up techniques, epoxy resins, and fiberglass or carbon cloth.
- Familiarity with pre-preg and vacuum bagging processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of spray painting techniques is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Shift:
- Monday – Friday
- 8am – 5pm
Pay:
- $18/hr
