Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fiberglass Technician with at least 1 year of experience in fiberglass/composite repair of aircraft components. The ideal candidate will perform wet lay-up repairs using epoxy resins, fiberglass, or carbon cloth, along with the appropriate tooling and fixtures. Experience in pre-preg, vacuum bagging, and spray painting is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fiberglass/composite repairs on aircraft components.
- Use wet lay-up techniques with epoxy resins and fiberglass or carbon cloth.
- Work with tooling and fixtures to ensure proper repairs.
- Assist in pre-preg, vacuum bagging, and spray painting tasks as needed.
- Ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in fiberglass/composite repair.
- Experience with wet lay-up, epoxy resins, fiberglass, or carbon cloth.
- Familiarity with pre-preg and vacuum bagging processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of spray painting techniques is desirable.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
