Skilled tradesperson who specializes in cutting, installing, and repairing glass in various structures like windows, doors, mirrors, and skylights, essentially responsible for fitting glass into buildings, both commercially and residentially.
Pay for this position is $18.00 per hour to start
Schedule is 8am- 4:30 pm Monday – Friday
Must be able to Read a tape measure, Assisting lead setter with Setting frames, replacing and installing custom glass.
Must be able to use power tools, ladders, scaffold & Lifts.
Must have a clean driving record.
Tools required:
- Steel toe boots/shoes
- Tool box – 24" or bucket boss
- 4ft. Level
- 2 ft. Level
- Tri-Square/ combination square
- 25'-35' Tape measure
- Hammer (framing/tack/claw)
- Rubber mallet/ dead blow hammer
- Utility knife
- Glaziers pouch (CRL)
- Scrape and pry bars (CRL)
- 5 in 1- 5 way- painters tool
- Flat putty knives 1"-3"
- Screwdriver set PH#1-3 Flat-same minimum
- Needle nose pliers
- Pliers
- Sheet metal sheers straight and angled
- 18v or better drill and impact driver set (optional to purchase through company)
- Standard and Metric Allen/hex head wrench sets
- 6" & 10" Crescent wrench
- Wire cutters (dikes-straight or offset)
- Blade snips (Rubber/plastic trim cutters)
- Vinyl roller (CRL)
- Impact nut driver sets 1/4-1/2"
- Cartridge caulking gun
