VOIP Field Engineer
Program, test and install Mitel MiVoice Business and MiVoice office solutions;
Resolve system related problems;
Maintain consistent and continuous communication with team, employees, clients and management through the use of the companies communication systems;
Properly document and backup installed solutions in Wiki and Cloudshare;
Assist project management in technical questions and conference calls with customers.
Install auxiliary products including but not limited to Video Surveillance, Access Control and Video Conferencing;
Job also includes physical work of mounting systems, light cabling, laying out phones and loading software on desktops.
Support all hardware and software issues;
Required Job Skills
Excellent problem solver, self-motivated, attentive to detail and works well in a team environment;
Ability to amiably assist non-expert end users;
Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment;
Effectively communicate oral and written with management and internal staff members;
Ability to access data from company secured and monitored systems.
Minimum 4-5 Years’ Experience as VoIP Engineer- Preferably Mitel MiVoice Business, Shore-tel or a SIP based product line i.e… Asterisk, Netsapiens or similar
Working knowledge of VLANs, Virtualization, Windows OS and Linux
Preferred BS Degree

Work Environment varies from customer locations, the work environment will vary from standard office environments to industrial type locations with all other variations included. Work will require travel to client sites that have exposures to excessive noise or adverse environment issues. Requires local travel via company supplied transportation means and may require occasional overnight travel to other cities, states, countries as requested.
