Senior Web Developer, Front-End

Job Overview

As part of our engineering team, you will be relied on as an HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Vue.js

expert that converts designs and business requirements into robust, secure, modular, and

maintainable software products.

You take pride in pixel-perfect design conversions and enjoy collaborating with the design

team. You thrive in a structured but agile working environment and like working as part of an

engineering team. You enjoy working alongside Back-End Engineers to integrate APIs with

your front-end UI components.

Responsibilities & Duties

? Convert designs and requirements into working front-end web applications

? Implements APIs to power front-end functionality as the project requirements dictate

? Ensure software solutions meet company coding standards and requirements for

style, performance, security, and accessibility

? Implements automated testing into development workflows

? Identifies and works with team members to plan projects and overcome challenges

? Updates and maintains assigned tasks and sprints in project management software

? Attends meetings and presents features that have been developed to internal teams

and stakeholders

? Stays up to date on modern web development standards and best practices

Required Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience

? 5+ years’ experience writing HTML, CSS and JavaScript or a combination of education

and experience.

? 3+ years’ experience working with a modern front-end framework such as React.js or

Vue.js

Specific Skills

? Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and

features

? Highly proficient with Vue.js framework and its core principles such as components,

reactivity, and the virtual DOM

? Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases

? Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vite, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js

? Highly proficient in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap 5, Tailwind

? Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code and

organized themes

? Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing, specifically testing frameworks such as

Jest or Mocha

? Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, and Git

? Ability to read and understand all forms of documentation and translate the

information into working solutions

? Ability to authenticate with and utilize REST and GraphQL Web APIs

Preferred Experience

Specific experience in any of these areas is nice to have!

? E-commerce (Catalogs, Carts, Checkout, Shipping, Payment Processing)

? Vue.js experience

? Atlassian ecosystem experience (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket)

? Figma & Adobe Suite
