Pay: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Electricians:
- Support licensed electricians by carrying tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
- Hold and pass tools to electricians during installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Prepare and Clean Worksites:
- Set up and clear work areas, including removing debris and preparing electrical components for installation.
- Clean and organize tools and materials.
Equipment Handling:
- Transport and set up heavy equipment such as generators, electrical tools, ladders, and scaffolding.
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and machines, ensuring they are used safely.
Material Handling:
- Unload, store, and organize electrical materials such as wires, cables, connectors, and tools.
- Maintain an inventory of electrical materials and equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various physical conditions (outdoors, confined spaces, etc.).
- Attention to detail: Ability to follow instructions carefully and assist in maintaining high safety standards.
- Safety awareness: Understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to electrical work.
- Communication skills: Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with team members.
Working Conditions:
- General laborers work in various environments, including indoors, outdoors, and sometimes in confined or hazardous spaces.
