GENERAL PURPOSE:

In this role you will be working directly with our sales teams and providing graphic design support to them as they work with their customers. You will also work with the production team to prepare finished artwork for production. Beyond your core responsibilities in supporting the sales and production teams, you will also work on brochure/product sheet design as well as special and custom projects as they come up.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interact with the Sales Team to complete customer renderings and proofs

• Work closely with the production and print team to prepare print files for daily orders

• Troubleshoot and resolve graphic issues when information is missing or incomplete by working collaboratively across departments

• Develop vast knowledge of customers, products, and brand design

• Provide feedback on weekly return reporting

• Work closely with Marketing department to produce content and collateral for marketing efforts and campaigns

• Maintain customer design files in a file storage system

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist other team members where possible

• Drive continuous improvement by collecting data and identifying process improvements to improve efficiency and productivity in the department and across departments

• Assist and support your manager on projects and tasks as requested

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Strong Graphic Design and artwork/logo management and enhancement skills

• Intermediate typing and general computer skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to adjust to changing business conditions and learn new processes

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues with limited information using basic processes and judgement

• Positive, can-do, solutions-oriented attitude

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Work History Requirements:

o Minimum 5 years of Graphic Design experience required

• Education Requirements:

o Degree or classwork in Graphic Design (or equivalent in work experience)

COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND LEVEL OF SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

• Intermediate level of Microsoft Outlook; Beginner level of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Solid computer skills with experience for print, web, and motion graphics

• Strong layout experience

• Desired but not required experience:

o Working knowledge of HTML/HTML5/CSS/CSS3/JavaScript

o Experience in 3D visualization applications (Cinema 4D, 3DS Max, Maya, SketchUp, etc.)

o Familiarity with photography, videography, and video editing

o UX and/or UI design experience
