Heavy Assembler/General Help (Sign Manufacturing)VIP South Dallas is looking for Heavy Assembler/ General Help for a sign manufacturing warehouse located in Cedar Hill, TX. This position will require previous experience in a sign manufacturing and experience utilizing hand tools and heavy lifting to build crates or assemble custom signs. Must be able to read a tape measure and pass an assessment.
Heavy Assembler/ General Help Shift:
- Monday-Friday
- 1st (6am-3:30pm)
Heavy Assembler/ General Help Pay Rate:
- $18-$20
Heavy Assembler/ General Help Responsibilities:
- Building crates for material being shipped out
- Using hand tools, nail guns, pneumatic staplers, etc.
- Pulling and staging materials for production
- Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments.
- Stage loading and unloading areas with appropriate equipment
Heavy Assembler/ General Help Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sign manufacturing facility
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Familiar with hand tools and basic cutting
- Physical strength necessary to lift and move boxes
- Basic math skills
- Demonstrates awareness of safety procedures
- Must be able to provide own tools tape measure, screwdrivers – Philips and Flat Head, knife / Box Cutter, wire strippers, pliers, tin snips, hammer, carpenter’s Square.
