JOB TITLE
Housekeeper
(must have previous housekeeper experience in an assisted living facility)
SHIFT
6AM – 2:30PM Monday – Friday with some weekend work
POSITION PURPOSE:
In an effort to promote a progressive customer service culture this position will provide routine and special cleaning services throughout the Trinity Terrace. Responsible to uphold PRS’s core values of excellence, innovation, integrity, stewardship, compassion, and collaboration in fulfilling all job duties.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all job duties and tasks under the department’s umbrella policy on Customer Service. Work with focus on reaching Trinity Terrace’s Mission to “provide exceptional services and a secure, active, environment to enrich the lives of seniors”.
- Other job duties and tasks as assigned, inclusive but not limited to the additional categories listed in this job description
- Routine and special cleaning of all residential units in the River, Terrace and City Tower buildings
- Routine and special cleaning of all public and common use areas within the Terrace and City Tower buildings
- Cleaning of offices, restrooms and their fixtures, and windows
- Provide housekeeping services for guest rooms
- As needed, may be assigned to assist in Laundry as needed
Knowledge:
- Housekeeping and cleaning experience
- Skills in operating housekeeping equipment and tools.

Knowledge of solutions, chemicals, and pertinent cleaning supplies.

Ability to read and understand label instructions
Communication is related to routine work. Must effectively communicate with residents and fellow staff. Requires basic courtesy and tact to maintain positive relationships.
Working Conditions:
Work is fairly active involving light lifting and pushing (up to 35 lbs.) Considerable walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling and crouching.
