IBM Infosphere Governance Administrator

• Required: 5+ years IBM InfoSphere Information Server experience. Specifically, with hands-on experience in working with Information Governance Catalog (IGC) and Information Analyzer (IA)

  • IGC v11.5/11.7

• Required: 5+ years designing/developing DataStage integrations (ETL) from a variety of data sources

• Required: Hands-on experience using InfoSphere Metadata Asset Manager (IMAM) to import, export, and manage metadata assets

• Required: Desired programming/scripting languages: Perl, Unix Shell, Java (specifically, any languages for manipulating data files)

• Required: Experience loading technical and business metadata assets in IGC

• Experience in developing RESTFUL web services. Bonus points for experience in using and understanding IGC’s RestAPI

• Experience in developing custom extensions for IGC using OpenIGC

• Experience loading custom metadata into IGC using Extension Mapping Documents (EMD)

• Strong understanding of what a Metadata Model is, what purpose it serves, and how it’s leveraged within IGC

• Overall familiarity with concepts in Information Management, Information Governance, and Data Stewardship

• Previous Data Management, Data Modeling, or Data Warehousing experience a plus IN ADDITION to the above required skills
