VIP-South Dallas is hiring a Vinyl, Printing, & Graphics detailer to work in a sign manufacturing shop located in Cedar Hill, TX. This is a temp-to-hire long-term opportunity. Must use machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions.
Shift/Schedule:
- 1st shift
- 6am-3:30pm
- Monday-Friday
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in large format roll-to-roll printing
- Strong experience with printer operation and maintenance
- Knowledge of color management and print quality
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot printer issues
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality prints
- The ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with RIP software and other printing software is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Make cut and print files from client's drawings
- Pulling material for orders
- Machine set-up, change consumables, and tooling set-up
- Daily machine operation for part processing
- Mechanical troubleshooting of machines
- Read and interpret measurements and plans
- Proactively recognize defective material
- Packaging of material to customer requirements
- Scrap management of remnants and efficient scrap utilization
- Accurate work order confirmation on paper and computer
- Stage material for shipping
- Carrying/moving supplies as needed
- Maximum productivity for finished goods creation
- Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervision
