Injection Molding Machine Operator
Two Shifts:5:30am – 5pm Monday – Wednesday plus 5:30am – 12:30pm on Thursdays $15/hr (40 hours)5:30pm-5:30am Monday – Wednesday $16/hr (36 hours)
Job Summary:
The Injection Molding Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts efficiently and safely. Must be able to stand for 10-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate injection molding machines, load materials, and adjust settings for optimal production.
- Quality Control: Monitor production, inspect finished products, and make adjustments to ensure quality standards.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, and report major problems.
- Documentation: Maintain production records and report data to supervisors.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other operators and staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in injection molding or a similar role preferred.
- Skills: Mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, attention to detail, ability to read technical drawings, and good teamwork.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to [insert weight], and perform repetitive tasks.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
