Inspection Production Assistant Manager

We are recruiting for an Inspection Production Assistant Manager for a company based near Brooks City Base. This position will be responsible for duties to include:

  • Reading and understanding procedure manuals

  • Specific examination of assembly plan, remodeling plan schedule

  • Daily inspection of production facilities, monitoring for cleanliness

  • Follow work procedures and standardize work

  • Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical systems, machinery, and equipment

  • Required to use always proper PPE (coverall, steel toe shoes, hard hat, safety glasses & gloves)

  • Schedule, perform and document PM per machine manufacturers recommendations

  • Learn and maintain all plant safety protocols

  • Record and report reoccurring defects, regular maintenance and be able to trouble shoot

  • Diagnose mechanical problems and finding solutions based on reading blueprints.

  • Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing equipment

  • Create assembly instructions to accommodate customers specific requirements

  • Create inspection defect reports

This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday (schedule specifics to be determined) in a business casual manufacturing environment.


*This position is required to use at all times proper PPE (coveralls, steel-toed shoes, hard hat, safety glasses & gloves)



  • High School education

  • Working knowledge of electrical circuit diagrams

  • Be able to read and understand electrical schematics

  • Experience working with various kinds of voltmeters

  • Experience with wiring electrical components

  • Experience using tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, voltmeters, crimpers, stripping, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.

  • Handling use of high voltage and low voltage power supplies

  • Experience with overhead cranes (50-70 US tons)

  • Experience in reading blueprints and technical drawings

  • Working knowledge and conversion of the Metric System to US units.

  • Experience working with hydraulic circuits

  • Experience with sit down, electrical forklift

  • Computer literate



Pay range: $55k-$70k DOE
