Direct the continuous improvement of Information Systems and procedures to maintain pace with economic change, technological advances, system development priorities, and business needs.

Evaluates, recommends, and/or approves computer, communication, and office systems.

Direct IT operations; creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards, procedures and objectives.

Develop, manage, review, and approve projects.

Maintain vendor contracts.

Review requests for additional information systems services and identify impact on current planned resources.

Review all designs, code and test plans where applicable.

Provide reports to management on projects, resource utilization, and production performance.

Monitor the security of data to ensure the integrity and reliability of all systems.

Write queries, procedures, views, and other programming to provide information for users.

Ensure the growth and development of the IT staff to maintain technical knowledge.

Prepare and manage the annual IT budget; establishes controls to stay within budget.

Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems-related field required.

Minimum 6 years Management experience in an IT function.

Wide range of systems knowledge.

AWS or cloud experience a must.

Very strong communication skills with all levels of a company, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.

Demonstrated management, administrative, and analytical skills.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role will have direct reports and supervisory responsibility.
