Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports Project Manager(s) on multiple technology projects simultaneously
Assist with driving implementation of projects within established budget, scope, and timeline
Coordinate with IT staff and business units to prioritize tasks and project assignments
Manages project communications and coordination of meeting; to include attendance tracking
Manage the deliverable review process to ensure all feedback and input is documented and reported to vendor in alignment with the project schedule
Supports PM in tracking and managing issues and action items
Develops IT specific project management tools and templates
Maintains a repository of all project related documents for use throughout the project
Elicits, analyzes, and documents business requirements and processes as needed
Maintains a close working relationship with management of all departments
Performs other related technology duties and projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science or a closely related field, and 3-5 years’ of Project Management experience in a technology environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have experience managing IT projects and working with technology vendors
Knowledge of information technology industry and an understanding of fundamental project management methods and tools; thorough knowledge of fundamental business analysis methods and tools
Strong skill in project management; strong skill in planning, organization, customer service, and troubleshooting; skill in effective business management
Ability to represent us in a professional and effective manner; ability to interpret and explain policies and procedure; ability to facilitate meetings with little or no oversight and have outstanding follow up; ability to show assertiveness, leadership, problem-solving skills, and team-building; ability to persuade and influence others, drive collaboration, achieve effective solutions, and manage multiple projects simultaneously; ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner across functional and technical departments, both verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, stakeholders, other employees, Officials, outside organizations and agencies, vendors and the general public
Must secure and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance Must clear a pre-employment physical and a pre-employment drug screen test Required to be on call 24 hours
May be required to work more than 40 hours during the workweek May be required to work weekends
This position may need to satisfy the requirement of completing and passing an assessment during the employment process
Preferred Certification/License:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Office (PMO) experience
Working Environment and Physical Demands:
Constantly working in indoor conditions
Occasionally moves about the office
Frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
Positions self to perform essential functions
Must be able to remain in a stationary position
