VIP Staffing is currently seeking individuals with experience in Janitorial/Maintenance! This position would be located on the South Side of San Antonio! If you are interested and meet ALL requirements then stop by our office and ask for SELINA!

Pay Rate: $13.00

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays)

Shift: 10:00 p.m.-7:00 am

Job Details:

• Maintain clean and orderly facility in accordance to EHS standards.

• Perform 5S procedures in all areas of building and grounds. (5S is a Japanese term that stands for Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain).

• Respond to custodial calls for spills, 5S emergencies or other environmental issues in accordance to procedures.

• Conduct interior and exterior rounds according to provided check sheets.

• Identify and report any hazardous conditions.

5S

• Clean offices, conference rooms, hallways/corridors, lobby, lunch areas, restrooms, locker rooms, break areas (inside/outside), and other work areas so that health standards meet expectations.

• Stock paper supplies, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.

• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas

• Clean building floors by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, & waxing.

• Clean microwaves and refrigerators interior and exterior surfaces to include disposal of items left behind in accordance to schedule.

• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.

Requirements:

• High school diploma PREFFERRED

• Valid Driver’s License is REQUIRED

• One year relevant work experience within the last 5 years is required

• Knowledge of custodial or janitorial practices and procedures, including proper handling of chemicals, substances, materials and equipment.
