Pay: $22-$23/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Position Overview: This role is crucial for analyzing job costs, identifying cost issues, and ensuring accurate financial tracking on our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a keen eye for detail, ready to contribute to our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify job cost issues and missed revenue in a timely manner.
- Analyze and report on job cost data to uncover discrepancies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers, other job cost accountants, TxDOT, and subcontractors to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reports to project supervisors.
- Correct cost entries as needed to maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred) or equivalent accounting experience.
- Strong computer skills, especially proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
