VIP Staffing is currently seeking experienced Machine Maintenance Technicians to partner with a great company located on the South Side of San Antonio! Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

Schedule: Day and Night shift available (NO Rotating Schedule)

Job Description

• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment

• Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action using good reasoning skills

• Reviews production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing or performs scheduled maintenance

• Tests equipment to check operation. Tries out equipment after repairs, changeovers, or extended downtime

• Examines, tests, and measures product from assigned equipment for quality specifications and records data on appropriate forms

• Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, repost findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action

• Maintains building to includes, but not limited to, to the facility repairs, box assembly, cut grass, and clean machines and equipment.

• Uses scaled, square, levels miscellaneous power bench tools, wrenches, carpentry tools, etc.

• Operate forklift and conduct basic welding projects.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum 2 years experience in Machine Maintenance

• Basic understanding of pnuematics and hydraulics

• Welding experience PREFERRED

• MUST have reliable transportation

• MUST meet ALL background requirements

• MUST be able to pass a drug screen
