In this hands-on role, you will set up and operate burn tables, utilizing conveyors and transfer tables to bend a variety of plate steel products. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a fast-paced work environment with substantial overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate plasma burn tables to cut and shape steel plates according to specifications.
- Utilize conveyors and transfer tables to bend and move steel products efficiently.
- Ensure precision and quality of finished products through accurate machine operation and adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating plasma burn tables or similar equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work the 2nd shift (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM) and flexibility for overtime.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
