Location: Arlington, TX
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Machine Operator to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot injection molding machines for the production of high-quality plastic parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with machine operation, and be capable of standing for up to 10-hour shifts. This role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with rotating shifts available.
Shifts Available:
  • Shift 1: 5:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Wednesday) + 5:30 AM – 12:30 PM (Thursday) | $15.00/hr | 40 hours/week
  • Shift 2: 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM (Monday – Wednesday) | $16.00/hr | 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Setup & Operation:Set up and operate injection molding machines, ensuring proper loading of materials and adjusting settings for optimal production output.
  • Quality Control:Monitor the production process, inspect finished parts, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Perform routine maintenance on machines, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and report larger problems to supervisors.
  • Documentation:Accurately maintain production records and submit required reports.
  • Team Collaboration:Work closely with other machine operators and production staff to ensure seamless and efficient production.
Required Skills:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective teamwork and communication abilities.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma.
  • Basic knowledge of injection molding machine programming.
  • Technical certifications in manufacturing or mechanical systems.
Required Experience:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in injection molding or related machine operation preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
  • Ability to lift up to [insert weight].

Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced manufacturing setting with moderate noise levels.
