Set-up / Maintenance Crew Team MemberJob Type: Full-time – Non-Exempt Pay: $16.00 to $17.00 per hourSet-up? Work with the Facilities Manager and Assistant Manager to manage rooms throughoutthe facility? Move tables, chairs, and other items within rooms, to closets, and other rooms? Assigned specific rooms for set-up and tear down within a 120,000 sq. ft. facility? Work with other team members to set up special events throughout the facility? Help clean up after special events? Move furniture or equipment within building as directed by the Facility ManagerOn Duty? During certain shifts this position will be the only staff member on campus and thereforewill be responsible for opening the building, interior doors, and answering calls to assistmembers with special requests as needed such as moving tables and chairs, handlingminor maintenance requests, etc.? Follow established procedures for locking, checking, and safeguarding facilities? Carry a church provided house cell phone during the employee’s shift when theemployee is the only person on dutyMaintenance and Repair? Replace ceiling tiles, 4-foot fluorescent bulbs, assist in minor repairs, and replace HVACreturn air filtersCleaning? Light vacuuming in support of custodians, empty wastepaper baskets, and trash cans asneeded? Keep buildings and grounds, including sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and playareas, neat and clean? Respond to emergency spills and messes while on duty, providing cleaning supplies,helping clean, and generally protecting the integrity of the buildingDeep Cleaning? During slow periods of the year this position will assist in deep cleaning carpets andfloors as well as other annual projectsRequirements? Valid Driver License and clear background check? Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safetyprocedures? Ability to operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning supplies
