Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of manufacturing machinery by performing preventive and corrective maintenance. This position involves troubleshooting issues, installing new equipment, and collaborating with the production team to enhance productivity and safety. The Maintenance Technician is essential in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal machine functionality.
- Corrective Maintenance: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery issues as they arise.
- Installation: Install and set up new machinery, ensuring proper operation.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and address unexpected breakdowns to minimize production delays.
- Reporting: Document all maintenance activities and generate maintenance reports.
- Safety Management: Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Training: Train production staff on routine machine maintenance tasks and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to improve machine efficiency, quality, and workplace safety.
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance or machinery repair, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting and maintaining industrial equipment.
Required Skills:
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose issues and make quick, effective repairs.
- Safety Awareness: Comprehensive understanding of workplace safety protocols and practices.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Technical Reporting Skills: Familiarity with creating maintenance documentation.
- Preventive Maintenance Planning: Experience with maintenance scheduling or planning.
- Basic Training Skills: Ability to train staff on simple maintenance tasks.
