VIP Staffing is looking for an experienced maintenance Tech for a multifamily housing units in North Central San Antonio

Maintenance Technician – responsible for aspects of property maintenance including: curb appeal, service requests, apartment turnover, preventative maintenance, resident relations, contractor and vendor management & and support of other team members.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Perform maintenance, as required, to have apartments in a habitable and or move-in condition.

• Perform work orders as assigned.

• Assist in maintaining all common grounds as required.

• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in the performance of all maintenance as required in conjunction with the request of the Property Manager.

• Abide by all company policies and procedures as well as property policies applicable to your particular property.

• Assist with on-call duties.

• Ensure all common areas and amenities are clean and in good working order.

• Maintain overall curb appeal of community by assisting in the necessary repairs and clean-up.

• Complete work orders within a prompt and efficient manner.

• Submit to work status reports at the end of each day.

• On-call for emergencies at night or on weekends as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• HVAC Certification Highly Preferred

• Working knowledge of trouble shooting and fixing Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Dry wall and Paint

• Strong working knowledge of hand and power tool used in the maintenance of buildings

REQUIREMENTS:

Universal EPA Certification for HVAC highly desired, tools for required work

Work Standing, sitting, squatting, stooping, kneeling and or laying for extend periods of time.

Climb and working on and around ladders

Lift 60 lbs frequently

Pass all background and drug screen requirements involved with the position.
